HOT 89.9 AND OTTAWA FOOD BANK SUPPORTERS SAVED RUDOLPH

When Christmas was in jeopardy, Hot 89.9 listeners, also known as “Hotties”, rallied together to ensure the holiday was saved.

Individuals, families, day cares, and local business showed their generosity and holiday spirit by showing up to Hot Studios and donating all they could.

The ransom asked for people to donate 8,099 cans of food in order to get Rudolph back to Santa – but Hotties did one better. Hot 89.9 listeners more than doubled the ransom, and donated 17,533 cans of food for the Ottawa Food Bank!

Thank you to The New Hot 89.9, and everyone who donated food and funds to the Ottawa Food Bank. Your support is very appreciated this time of year and your donations have definitely helped in the fight against hunger in the Ottawa community (not to mention, you saved Christmas!).
