Thank you so much to Purolator for including the Ottawa Food Bank in your Purolator Tackle Hunger campaign.
With food donations being collected at both the Redblacks and Fury games last weekend, this campaign’s stop in Ottawa was a great success. Collectively a total of 33,900 lbs of food was donated!
Thank you to the sports fans who donated. The 33,900 pounds of food that was raised on Friday and Sunday will immediately be put to good use. Our volunteers are eager to get sorting the food so it can go out to our 140 agencies, providing food for upwards of 50,000 people each month.
