The Ottawa Food Bank’s annual Thanks for Giving Food Drive has wrapped up for the season.
Over two weekends in October, 24 grocery stores across Ottawa hosted volunteers who encouraged shoppers to pick up an extra non-perishable item or two in support of families accessing food programs through the Ottawa Food Bank network. The food drive took place in Ottawa Centre and East on October 4, and in Ottawa South and West on October 18.
