A big THANK YOU to our friends at Gifford Associates Insurance Brokers for their very generous donation!
During the month of August, they were collecting food from employees and community friends in an effort to raise as much as possible for the Ottawa Food Bank.
The food drive started as a challenge presented to Gifford Associates by Worden Insurance & Financial Services in Oshawa. Both organizations collected all they could for their Can Count Challenge. Regardless of who raised more, emergency food programs from both Oshawa and Ottawa are grateful for the generosity shown.
The grand total from Gifford Associates was 789 food items, filling 15 boxes to the brim!
