Thank you once again to our generous Mayor, Jim Watson.
The 13th Annual Christmas Party at City Hall was a lot of fun and a great success for the Ottawa Food Bank.
The day of Christmas joy brought in 4,000 lbs of food and $450 dollars for the Ottawa Food Bank! That is twice the amount of food as last year’s party!
The event included ice skating on the Rink of Dreams, hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows and horse-drawn wagon rides on Marion Dewar Plaza. Inside City Hall people could meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, decorate a gingerbread cookie in Santa’s bakery, have your face painted, and enjoy live performances.
