Another Great Food Drive and Event by NCAO

Thank you to the organizers and volunteers from the Nepalese Canadian Association of Ottawa (NCAO) for a successful food drive, and wonderful multicultural dance and music show on Saturday, August 11.

This year’s event brought in $29,000 worth of donations! Since the event’s inception, the NCAO has donated over $112,000 in food and funds to the Ottawa Food Bank.

NCAO volunteers hit the pavement for several weeks going door to door collecting food and fund donations for the Ottawa Food Bank. The volunteers visited over 6,000 households in more than 20 neighborhoods across Ottawa!

The multicultural event at Andrew Hayden Park on Saturday was filled with music, dancing, food and featured performances from dance troupes from more than a dozen Ottawa ethnic communities.
