As we wrap up our 2025 Corporate Community Ambassador Program, we are grateful to corporate groups who are committed to fighting against food insecurity in Ottawa. Their dedication brings us hope and supports our network of 71 agencies that operate 98 food programs in the city.
From October to January, the Ottawa Food Bank offers weekly visits to corporate groups in the city. Once a week for half a day, the groups visit the warehouse where they sort food and engage in advocacy-related activities. Their experience allows them to understand the ins and outs of food banking, the realities of food insecurity needs in the community, and how to become food-secure advocates in Ottawa.
We want to highlight the 9 groups who participated in our program this past year:
- Bird Construction
- Coke Canada
- EY
- Gabriel MacKinnon Lighting Design
- IBISKA Telecom Inc.
- Mondelez International
- Novonesis
- Sysco, who participated in two sessions
- Travelers Canada

Thank you to our seasoned volunteers. We are grateful for your ongoing dedication and gift of time as you support the program and corporate teams.
