D’Arcy McGee’s (44 Sparks St.) is happy to host The Mahones on Friday, Oct. 31st at 9 p.m. – and they’re accepting donations of food or cash for the Ottawa Food Bank in lieu of cover charge!
ABOUT THE EVENT
Since 1990 these Canadian Paddy Punk pioneers have been blowing people away with unbelievably high energy shows and incredible musicianship, and D’Arcy McGee’s is ecstatic to have them grace their stage once again! In support of their 12th CD “The Hunger & The Fight” between a huge North American Tour and an equally large European Tour they convinced Finny and the gang to come back to their pub roots and help in “The Fight Against Hunger.”
In a time after Thanksgiving (when we remember to be thankful for all we have) it’s Hallowe’en (a decadent Ancient Celtic Festival where we are handing out food and candy to those who have) we wanted to take a moment to remember those who aren’t as blessed, so In lieu of a cover charge they will be accepting donations of food and/or money for the Ottawa Food Bank to give back to our community!
