The Ottawa Food Bank is recruiting a Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization at a critical time for our community.
Food bank visits in Ottawa have more than doubled since 2019, with 588,866 visits recorded across our network in the past year alone.
We are seeking a leader who is deeply committed to the Ottawa Food Bank’s mission. As Chief Executive Officer, you will help advance our 2025-2028 North Star Goal of ending food insecurity in Ottawa by 2050.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will lead the Ottawa Food Bank staff and support a network of 62 member agencies operating 98 food programs across the city.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative leader who can drive our business plan, build strong partnerships, advocate for systems change to reduce food insecurity, and respond to organizational and community needs with clarity and compassion.
