The Ottawa Food Bank is looking for an individual to fill a full-time position for Human Resources Manager.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance and Administration, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for advising management on a wide range of human resources and labour relations activities, and providing support to both new and existing employees, both unionized (drivers and warehouse) and non-unionized. This position encompasses both the strategic HR functions as well as the day-to-day aspects, from staff development and engagement to recruiting and payroll, to name a few. This position supports the work with our wonderful community of volunteers, and manages our Volunteer Coordinator.
