The Ottawa Food Bank is working with a local service provider who is managing and executing a tele-fundraising campaign for our organization. This campaign will be running from February 2, 2026 to June 15, 2026.
About our Tele-fundraising Campaign
The Ottawa Food Bank supports a network of almost 100 food programs across our city. Fresh, nutritious food is distributed throughout Ottawa to help the over 1 in 4 families who do not have enough food to eat.
Our tele-fundraising program allows us to connect with incredible supporters such as yourself to share updates about your impact, and invite you to become a monthly donor. By becoming a part of our Nourish Forward community of monthly donors, you can help to provide nutritious food for our neighbours year round.

How to Verify a Caller?
You can confirm authorized callers of Generosité Fundraising & Communications in these ways:
- They will clearly identify themselves as a representative calling on behalf of Ottawa Food Bank.
- They will provide their first name and the name Generosité Fundraising & Communications.
- All donations are processed through a secure PCI-compliant system. We never ask for e-transfers or e-gift cards.

Yes. All donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt. You will receive an email confirmation and tax receipt within 24 hours. Note for monthly donations, an annual tax receipt is issued.
