Canadian Armed Forces Contribute to the Ottawa Food Bank

In early December, members of the Canadian Armed Forces came together to auction goodies and services. Among the highlights were babysitting, coffee for a week, homemade breakfast smoothies, knitted masterpieces, organic lunches, and shortbread.

The members of the Canadian Armed Forces held the auction with the goal of helping the less fortunate in National Capital Region community. This year’s auction raised $1,040 and a cheque was presented to the Ottawa Food Bank’s executive director, Michael Maidment, by Lieutenant-Colonel Martin Lemay and Ms. Patricia Clermont.

Thank you so much for your donation, and your support. This contribution will go a lot way to help us move our neighbours beyond hunger.
