We are grateful to have been considered a “friend” during the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation & Friends Charity Golf Tournament at Casselview Golf & Country Club earlier this month.
The grey and cool start to the day did not keep participants away from this tournament as golfers showed up with bags of non-perishable food items to donate.
Monetary donations were raised through sponsorship, registration, raffle prizes, 50/50 tickets, and general generosity, and was split between the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Ride for Dad, and the Ottawa Food Bank.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity an incredible $5,000 and 260 pounds of food was donated to the Ottawa Food Bank.
Thank you very much to Jay and Daniel who organized the tournament and selected us as one of the charities of choice. Also thank you to all the participants who showed up ready to have fun and support the community.
