THANK YOU GREEN SHIELD CANADA

The kind-hearted people at Green Shield Canada gave the Ottawa Food Bank a $5,000 grant, near the end of June, to put towards our KickStart program.

Their generous donation will help us provide food for school meal programs and after-school clubs that give nutritious meals and snacks to children who often go to school hungry. The KickStart program also supplies lunches to day-camps throughout the summer when school is out.
