I found the online donation page to be an easy tool both to set up and to share through email and through social media. The page was simple to customize (including adding a photo, adding and updating the description, and updating the fundraising goal). I really liked that the portal listed all of the donations by name and email, and especially that it allowed me track who I had thanked. I think having a donation page set up through the Ottawa Food Bank also helped to encourage donors as it felt very legitimate and official. It was a convenient way to manage and to donate to the fundraiser in our increasingly virtual world!
