The first theme for Hunger Action Month is EDUCATE
Education is the key to understanding the complexity of certain social issues such as food insecurity.
There are many who think food insecurity isn’t an issue in their neighbourhood. That it’s only a cause for concern in the “downtown core” of major cities such as Ottawa. However, we can tell you that food insecurity reaches every corner of our city.
To illustrate that, check out Feed Ontario’s Hunger in my riding tool to see what food insecurity looks like in your part of town. Once you see your results, feel free to educate your MPP about the issue by passing along the automatically generated results!
