Costco Canada Head Office included the Ottawa Food Bank in their annual Christmas Party this year.
Costco employees were given a shopping bag to fill with non-perishable donations to bring to the party. This task was taken very seriously by the employees, as most showed up with packed grocery bags, collectively donating a grand total of 6,000 pounds of food!
The organization’s generosity doesn’t end there; Costco’s Ottawa Office Social Committee also donated $20,000 worth of gift certificates!
