Earlier this week we received an extremely generous food donation from One Ocean Expeditions. The food weighed a total of 3,637 pounds and included amazing items such as eggs, yogurt, milk, and too many different types of fruits and vegetables to mention!
We were fortunate enough to receive this donation because of a change in One Ocean Expeditions’ order plans for their Arctic voyages – recent changing ice and weather conditions in the Arctic necessitated some logistical changes, and in the end their original food order made their way to us.
Thank you to Senator Vern White, from Citizen Advocacy, for recommending us to One Ocean Expeditions when they were looking for a good home for this food.
