The Ottawa Food Bank and the network of 112 member agencies reported 493,951 visits in fiscal year 2022-23: the highest level of food bank visits in our 39-year history, and 22% higher than the previous year.
Many member agencies within the network extended their hours, opened more days, and secured and distributed more food to meet increasing need in their communities.
In the face of increased need, rising costs, and the lingering challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of 10,345,096 pounds of food and non-food items were distributed to the network. Your support helped this valuable work continue.
