Join Chef Caroline for a special five-course take out dinner in honour of World Food Day on Friday, October 16.
These are brave new times. How can we remain connected when the pandemic has brought social isolation even more to the forefront? Her solution is a virtual communal table on Zoom, in collaboration with Chef Neil Mather and the Lord Elgin Hotel!
Before the event, you can choose to pick up your dinner or have it delivered to your home. Then you’ll have the option of gathering with other diners at 7 pm.
The inspiration for the menu has come from the Chef’s time in Japan and the fall season bounty. The entire menu will be vegan and gluten-free, and made with natural and seasonal ingredients, and lots of love.
A portion of the dinner proceeds will go to Just Food, the event partner, and the Lord Elgin Hotel‘s Stop Hunger Foundation supporting the Ottawa Food Bank.
