How YOU can help Fight Hunger & Spark Change TODAY

WHAT: This year marks Walmart’s 4th annual “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” National campaign to support Food Banks Canada.

WHEN: February 20 —March 18, 2020

WHY: 1 in 8 Canadians do not have food security, which leads to there being 1.1 million food bank visits each month.

GOAL: To collect enough money and donated food to secure 15 million meals for Food Banks Canada.

HOW: There are 4 ways you can help join the fight against food insecurity.

1. Purchase participating products
For every purchase (in-store and online at of select products, participating brands will donate a portion of the proceeds to Food Banks Canada.
Partners include: Nature Valley, Folgers, Maple Leaf – and more!
2. Donate at the register
From February 14 to March 13 customers will also be offered the opportunity to round up their purchase at the register to the nearest dollar and donate the difference! Walmart location will match your donation! This donation will go directly to the Ottawa Food Bank.
3. Drop off food donations
Walmart stores across Ottawa will be, as always, accepting food donations in-store. Look for the Ottawa Food Bank donation bin after you make your purchase.
4. Add a donation when online shopping
