The success of CBC Ottawa’s Project Give fundraiser would not be possible without the incredible team behind the scenes.

Thank you to the behind the scenes and on-air team of CBC Ottawa. Each year, we are inspired by the dedication and thoughtfulness taken to ensure many voices are heard and celebrated as part of Project Give.

Thank you to our incredible member agencies who participated in the day and shared their stories throughout the day. We cannot express how proud we are to work with such amazing organizations such as yourselves. Check out the following stories:

  • Click here to read about Cornerstone Housing for Women. Even though they lost their commercial kitchen during the pandemic, it hasn’t stopped them from serving up thousands of hot meals a month to those in need.
  • Click here to read Dave Pineau’s story of how food bank deliveries through Bruce House were a lifeline.
  • Click here to read Inaya Siblini’s story. Inaya says it’s her turn to give back to Mino’Weesini food bank (the new branch of Parkdale Food Centre), that helped her family out when she first moved to Canada.

Thank you to all of the musicians and artists including Nayana, the Miguel de Armas Quartet and Twin Flames, who donated their talents and time to help facilitate and encourage donations throughout the day. It was a pleasure learning the stories of your artistic practices.

Thank you to the staff and patrons of Irene’s Pub, who generously raised 146 pounds of food donations for the Ottawa Food Bank!

And finally, thank you to all of the incredible people who gave generously by making a donation, helping those affected by food insecurity within our community.
