Thank you to the family and friends of late Ottawa Food Bank supporter, Fred Wong, for hosting another wonderful charity BBQ.
This BBQ is held on an annual basis to commemorate Fred and his generosity in his community. Fred was a long-time supporter of the Ottawa Food Bank and would often host BBQs in support of the cause. After he passed in 2008, those close to him decided to keep the tradition going.
This year’s BBQ raised just over $6,485, plus 50 lbs of food! Incredible.
In honour of Fred, and all he and his friends and family have done for the Ottawa Food Bank, we currently drive The Freddie to all our Ottawa Food Bank events.
