The 2022 Loblaw Spring Food Drive is here!

The 2022 Loblaw Spring Food Drive is here!
The campaign runs until April 14, at participating local Loblaw’s stores.

Unlike the ice and snow, hunger does not suddenly disappear in the spring. In fact, the need for food banks is higher than ever, which is why the Loblaw’s Spring Food Drive is so important. Folks like you can help by donating product in specially marked bins in stores across the city, or by making a monetary contribution at checkout!

While all contributions, monetary and food, are greatly appreciated, the most-needed donation items include non-perishable pantry staples like canned protein, canned vegetables, nut butters, and low sugar canned fruits. Currently, our most requested items are:

Nut butters

Nut-based spreads can be crunchy or creamy, and you can use them in many applications. Popular nut spreads include peanut butter, wow-butter, almond butter and cashew butter.

Canned Chili and Stews
Non-perishable, nutritious food items such as canned meats and vegetables, soups, chilis and stews are easy to store and deliver to our member agencies. Currently, canned chili and stews are in high demand across our network!
