Firms Filling Fridges, une campagne de financement d’un mois incroyablement réussie a permis de recueillir:
97 991 $
L’Association du barreau du comté de Carleton et 35 cabinets d’avocats d’Ottawa se sont réunis pour remplir 380 réfrigérateurs familiaux. Cette année, leur nourriture annuelle et leur collecte de fonds ont changé de vitesse et sont passés à un format en ligne pour les dons en utilisant les pages de dons en ligne Peer to Peer de la Banque d’alimentation d’Ottawa pour concourir pour le très convoité Golden Can Award et, bien sûr, une autre année de droit de se vanter!

La grande entreprise gagnante revient à Gowling WLG qui a levé 12 214,00 $
La moyenne entreprise gagnante revient à Soloway Wright LLP qui a levé 8 905,00 $
La petite entreprise gagnante revient à Arbique & Ahde, Associate Lawyers qui a recueilli 5 025,00 $
This year we were honoured to have two government law offices join us. An Honourable Mention goes out to the Office of the Judge Advocate General, National Defence for raising $1,455.00!

We are thrilled with how well the online donation platform has worked for the courthouse food bank drive. It has been fun to see firms and legal departments across the city compete in real-time in our "Golden Can Challenge," and our donation total has completely exceeded our expectations for the campaign. The legal industry has evolved substantially in the past year due to the pandemic and the need to move court matters online, and we were keen to move the courthouse food bank drive, now called Firms Filling Fridges, in this direction as well. We are very happy to see the legal community make such an incredible donation to the Ottawa Food Bank.
