This year marks the 10th edition of Food Sort Challenge, presented by Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen, a division of Boone – and we’re turning up the volume at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa!
Food Sort Challenge is one of our signature events, bringing together corporate and community teams for a high-energy event filled with teamwork and impact.
On Friday, May 8, 2026, teams of up to 10 will go head-to-head in the Battle of the Cans: a fast-paced race to sort 1,000 pounds of food as quickly and accurately as possible.
This event is made possible thanks to our committed volunteers, staff, sponsors, and supporters who contribute to our mission through their gifts of time and generosity.
Every dollar raised helps support households impacted by food insecurity in Ottawa.
