Join us on Saturday October 29th for TRICK OR TREAT WITH THE MAYOR; featuring a haunted house, and plenty of treats and attractions for the whole family! Enter the haunted house from the corner of Elgin and Lisgar. Come show off your costume, have a spooky time and don’t forget a non-perishable food or cash donation for the Ottawa Food Bank!
Date: Saturday, October 29, 2022
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
Location: Ottawa City Hall ~ Heritage Building (Elgin Street), Courtyard (between the Heritage Building, City Hall, and Courthouse), and Jean Pigott Place
Admission: A non-perishable donation to the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program
The Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program helps parents in need by providing items in high demand such as formula, baby food and diapers. Chronic shortages of donations of these basic needs make stocking the baby supplies one of the Food Bank’s most expensive, but most precious priorities.
Come Trick or Treat with the Mayor and your favourite costumed characters in the “Weird and Wonderful” Heritage Building where you will be welcomed by the Enchanted Witches of Elgin Street! Then head out to the Pumpkin Patch in the courtyard to decorate your very own miniature pumpkin! Have fun with roaming mascot characters, sure to bring you luck on Hallowe’en!
See what’s brewing inside City Hall where you can meet your favourite, fun costumed characters in Jean Pigott Place and meet the Tooth Fairy!
The City of Ottawa is proud to partner with Treat Accessibly to help make trick-or-treating accessible and inclusive for everyone.
