Federal Election 2025: The Network in Your Riding

Ottawa is a political city, but it’s also home to thousands of people facing food insecurity.

The Ottawa Food Bank and the network of 98 food programs work across the city to ensure that people have access to the food they need. Our network is present in almost every federal riding in Ottawa, serving individuals and families who rely on food programs in their communities.

While our network is dedicated to meeting local needs, we can’t do it alone. That’s why, as we head into the federal election, we’re echoing Food Banks Canada’s call for all political parties to commit to reducing food insecurity by 50% by 2030. Food insecurity is a growing crisis in Canada, and meaningful policy change is needed to address it.

Discover the Food Programs in Your Riding

The Ottawa Food Bank’s network spans federal ridings, ensuring that people in our community have access to food when they need it most. Below, you’ll find a breakdown of food programs by riding—demonstrating just how deeply we’re embedded in the community. But food banks should never be a long-term solution. We need federal action to strengthen income supports and make food more affordable, so no one has to rely on emergency food assistance to get by.

Your Voice Matters

The Ottawa Food Bank’s presence in federal ridings across the city highlights the urgent need for solutions. We are here to help, but we need strong federal policies to ensure fewer people have to rely on food banks in the first place.
