We’re Hiring: Community Engagement and Events Coordinator

Join the Ottawa Food Bank team as our Community Engagement and Events Coordinator!

As a key member of our Communications and Development team, you’ll play a vital role in Ottawa’s major fundraising events, both big and small. You’ll collaborate with media partners, sponsors, and dedicated Ottawa Food Bank Ambassadors to bring our events to life, ranging from small food drives to large online campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Manager, Community Engagement and Partnerships to identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage third-party fundraising events, as well as assist with our signature and partnered events. Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, communication, securing in-kind gifts, and event logistics to maximize their impact. Additionally, you’ll organize city-wide food drives in local grocery stores and collaborate with other Ottawa Food Bank departments to ensure successful execution.
