We’re Hiring: Director, Operations

The Ottawa Food Bank is seeking an individual to fill the full-time role of Director of Operations.

The Operations team at the Ottawa Food Bank is critical to its ability to distribute food safely and efficiently to the Ottawa community. As Director of Operations, you will have direct oversight of the warehouse, food collection, and distribution operations of the Ottawa Food Bank.

Reporting directly to the CEO, and working in tandem with the senior leadership team, you will be given the opportunity to work closely on the strategic direction of the organization, acting as a voice for your team in regards to operational goals, efficiencies, and strategy, and ultimately assisting to address food insecurity.

This is a critical and influential leadership role that will afford you the opportunity to oversee a multifaceted, passionate and high-functioning team. With Operations being a large and complex department within the organization, the general management and financial management will be equally important and a fundamental part of your role as the Director of Operations.
